The Pneumatic Conveying System is designed to transport bulk materials through pipelines using air pressure (positive pressure system) or vacuum (negative pressure system). The system consists of a blower or compressor, feeding unit, conveying pipeline, cyclone separator or filter receiver, and discharge system.
In a positive pressure system, compressed air pushes the material through the pipeline to the destination point. In a vacuum system, materials are sucked into the pipeline and conveyed to a receiver unit. Both methods provide efficient, dust-free, and controlled material handling.
Pneumatic conveying systems are particularly advantageous where space is limited or complex routing is required. The pipelines can be designed to move horizontally, vertically, or around obstacles without the need for mechanical conveyors. This reduces maintenance requirements and improves plant flexibility.
